On the 26th of October, PAVEL Service Group visited Fundeni Oncological Hospital to carve pumpkins with the children. Meanwhile, AISB also held a fun pumpkin-decorating contest for secondary students. Here’s a look at some of the most outstanding designs!
PAVEL’s visit to Fundeni Hospital

Children at the hospital’s Pediatrics-Oncology unit carved and painted on the pumpkins with help from PAVEL members.

Decorating pumpkins is a great way to get creative and express yourself!
AISB’s Pumpkin Carving Contest
AISB also hosted a pumpkin carving contest on Halloween for students from grades 6 to 12. It was extremely difficult to choose the winners among numerous original designs. Prizes were awarded – but most importantly, everyone had lots of fun!
Cheshire Cat won First Place in the competition! This school-spirited pumpkin received the community award.
Looks like he got unlucky with what he ate last night. Good thing he still got second place! The sharp-fanged pumpkin scored third.
We hope everyone had an awesome Halloween. Tell us what you think about these carved pumpkins in the comments!
