ABOUT

The Bite is the American International School of Bucharest (AISB)’s high school newspaper. Founded in 2017 as part of a Journalism course, all content is produced by students.

We are dedicated to delivering articles that affect the community—whether it’s a story on curriculum changes, a play-by-play of an important football game, or even a breakdown of the city’s best malls. Our mission is to entertain, and to give AISB high schoolers a place to write creatively.

If you’re interested in writing for The Bite, email our Managing Editor with your idea and writing samples. (See contact info below).

Copy Editor | Omotoyosi A.

Omotoyosi (often referred to as Toyosi, Toytoy, or even Toyota) is the Copy Editor for 10th grade here at The Bite. She’s also in charge of designing and writing the weekly newsletter (which you should really subscribe to, by the way). Even though she plans to study medicine in the future, writing is a guilty pleasure of hers. Outside of that, she, admittedly, doesn’t do anything besides eating, sleeping, and listening to R&B.
