Stranger Things is set in the fictional rural town of Hawkins, Indiana, during the early 1980s. It all starts when Will Byers, a young boy, disappears. The whole town and his best friends Dustin, Mike, and Lucas all go searching for him, but one thing leads to another, creating a supernatural trail. The people of the small town begin to discover secrets of a government lab, portals to another world, and sinister monsters.
Stranger Things is a series meant for all ages as it intrigues everyone from the start. Even though the twists and sub-plots are inventive, it is easy to know what’s going on. Not only is the dialogue well presented, but the characterization is convincing and the acting is excellent, making the show seem very real.
In a series of comments on IMDB, a user called rossnoon says, “I was hooked from the first episode! The acting in this is brilliant, especially from the younger members of the cast. This series has the perfect amount of mystery, suspense, and scares to keep you wanting more!”

The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries which centers around the Mikaelson siblings: Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah; a family of power-hungry vampires. The show begins with the siblings returning to the city of New Orleans for the first time since 1919. They originally built the city but were forced to flee because of their wicked father. While they were gone, Klaus’s protégé, Marcel, took charge of the city. Klaus decides he has to take Marcel down and get back the city that once belonged to them. While doing so, he must also protect their city from a war brewing between vampires, werewolves, and witches. The Originals really sets itself apart from The Vampire Diaries because it’s not really focused on love but rather on Family, Loyalty, and Power.
This show is fascinating, edgy, and full of surprises. It also makes you connect to the characters on a personal level almost immediately and if you can’t take my word for it, the IMDB website is full of reviews and comments like this one from the user Lee-Richardson1995, “The show has a brilliant cast, characters, great story and good location. The originals also gives explanations and goes into some detail about the characters backgrounds and helps you understand the story between the Originals and Marcel.”

Lucifer focuses on Lucifer Morningstar, The Devil. Bored with his life of ruling hell he decides to retire and come to earth. The irony is that he ends up settling in Los Angeles – The City of Angels. While retired, he starts running an upscale nightclub called Lux and indulges on all his favorite things, but when his famous friend is brutally murdered in front of his club, something changes deep within him. For the first time in 10 billion years, does he actually feels sympathy? Disturbed by that thought he still decides to go join Chloe Dancer, an LAPD homicide detective to find the murderer and make them pay for their sins.
Lucifer is a charming and mischievous take on the fallen angel. The show has many pop references, cool soundtracks and convincing acting from the lead actors. Far from evil, Lucifer is an alluring gentleman who wears nice suits, talks with a elegant British accent, and will make you feel like you know him personally just in the first episode. “Lucifer is not trying to be dark and mysterious, but fast-paced and humorous,” according to the user Ruben Helmersen Johansen from IMDB.

The Flash is well developed and brings something different with each episode.
